The information content of building
The sub-projects will produce three different models:
- bSF ark (architecture): requirements for information content and technical implementation of an information content matrix
- bSF rak (building: requirements for information content and technical implementation of an information content matrix
- bSF tate (building engineering): comparison of information content requirements with international standards, such as CoBIE, creating, commenting on and directing the information content requirements, the perspective of the designer, technical implementation of the matrix and preparation of object-specific information content requirements
The preparatory work was conducted by Gravicon (bSF). Gravicon also coordinates all three sub-projects, while AE Partners is responsible for communications and translations. If necessary, competitive tendering or a light call for tenders process may be implemented on further projects in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts.
Other organisations participating in the project include Granlund Oy, Fira Oy, Skanska Oy, Lemminkäinen talo Oy, Lujatalo Oy, NCC Finland Oy, SRV, SWECO Building Service Systems ja YIT Information Services Oy.
The definitions and interfaces of the main information contents of building are connected to the harmonisation and opening of the building information available in public registers implemented in connection with legislative changes and amendments.
The definitions will be combined to the modelling of land use decisions and the infrastructure sector, harmonisation of international standards as well as shared identifiers.
