The aim of Rapal Oy’s project is to develop an interface for the  Optimaze property management system, In which we can save our customers’ plan drawings in digital format.  Via the interface, third-party developers can utilise property plan drawings in the system using their own applications. Another objective is to develop the View3er library, which can be used to display plan drawings. The library enables the utilisation of navigation expanded by Rapal in third-party applications. This makes the use of graphic data easier and lowers the threshold for creating an application that utilises plan drawings provided by the graphics service.

Our development project enables the utilisation of up-to-date plan drawing graphics in applications and companies whose business is not the maintenance of plan drawings. The end customer does not need to pay for the maintenance of the same plan drawing in different systems. The parts developed in the KIRA-digi project have been highlighted in the attached image and concern Graphics Service parts 2 (Public Interface) and 3 (View3er library).

We are constantly receiving suggestions for improvement in application areas in which the plan drawings of properties would be beneficial. We believe that modern applications should have interfaces that enable the transfer of data from one application to another.  We believe that by networking and using ecosystems, we can offer our customers added value. We are therefore now offering our partners tools to develop applications and maintain plan drawings in the service.
