What kind of problem is the project trying to solve?

The lessors and tenants do not find each other optimally when looking to rent an apartment, and may not always find the best match. The rental apartment sector is a labour-intensive industry that has changed slowly. Being an agent for rental apartments involves a number of manual phases, resulting in a low cost-efficiency of the work. The new application looks to resolve this issue. 

Objective: Making it easier to rent an apartment 

The objective of the project is to create a basis for a whole new application that applies artificial intelligence to rental apartment markets. The application connects lessors and tenants in an incredibly efficient manner, creating optimal matches. The application speeds up the renting process, making it simple, affordable and cost-effective to both parties.

What is done in this project?

The objective is to develop a prototype of the It's a Match! application (MVP). Tangible measures include:

– Finding out the needs of tenants and lessors;

– Using service design to map the customer path of the application;

– Defining and programming the application prototype (MVP).

The experiment primarily benefits tenants and lessors who can find each other and connect more easily. The project team can create new business with the experiment.
