Shared identifiers
The objective is identifying the elements of interoperability in the KIRA sector, defining core data and ensuring interoperability as part of the data architecture for the built environment. The aim is to promote the use of existing codes and identifiers.
Through geographic information and locations, the shared technical identifiers in the KIRA sector are connected to the processes in land use, planning and building supervision. They include plan codes, permanent real estate codes, permanent building codes, permanent apartment codes and so on.
The shared administrative and financial identifiers and digital identifiers in the KIRA sector are connected to both public administration and industry processes through the target concepts and construction site identifiers. These include construction site identifiers, business IDs, tax numbers, place of residence codes and so on.
Commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment and the KIRA-digi project, Suomen Tilaajavastuu completed a report on construction site identifiers in the life cycle of the built environment. To read the report, click here (in Finnish).
