Enterprise Architecture of Built Environment
The purpose of digitalisation in the real estate and construction sector is to provide public services that are user-centric and primarily digital by modernising the practices. The enterprise architecture method combines existing studies, reports and analysis produced by different stakeholders into a big picture. It helps to establish how information on the built environment is being used or could be used in different contexts, for example in the provision of services for land use, construction, water area or land use or environmental protection across the boundaries of administrative sectors and projects.
The enterprise architecture method is also used to coordinate sub-projects, define common identifiers and verify their semantic interoperability as part of the terminology and nomenclature work.
