We had a successful Smart Building Week in Singapore last year together with 12 companies, Helsinki Business Hub and the Embassy of Finland in Singapore. We have planned some new activities for the year 2019 together with Helsinki Business Hub. We want to share the events with you, so you can save the dates.

The activities for year 2019 will soon start, but before that we will arrange an info session about the activities on Monday, 4th of February at 14.00 at Maria 01. Planned activities for 2019

Nordic China Smart City Conference

Time: March 26-28, 2019
Place: Stockholmsmässan, Mässvägen 1, Älvsjö, Sweden

The conference focuses on the Nordic opportunities within the fast-growing Chinese urban development market. Its aim is to promote cooperation, exchange of experiences and businesses between the Nordics and China, especially relating to the urban environment, health and wellbeing. Helsinki Business Hub and Healthtech Finland are supporting the event as a part of the Nordic cooperation.

HI.TECH Singapore

Time: April 1-4, 2019
Place: Singapore

Singapore Embassy, KIRA-digi and Helsinki Business Hub together with Business Finland will participate to HI.TECH Singapore on April 2-3, 2019. The event is focused on health. Our target groups would be the health tech companies and companies offering hospital design, smart building and digitalization solutions. In addition visits to Singaporean companies will be arranged.

Winter Sport Week

Time: second week of April, 2019
Place: Helsinki

In the spirit of the China-Finland Year of Winter Sport 2019, Ministry of Education and Culture, City of Helsinki and Helsinki Business Hub will arrange a Winter Sport Week on the second week of April. The aim is to present the Finnish winter sport know-how to Chinese organizations and companies, and to promote the opportunities in regards to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Official program of the week will start in the morning of the 10th of April with business a forum. During the week the following topics will be covered in meetings, matchmaking events and seminars:

• smart infrastructure, multiarena concepts and digitalization
• coaching and training, making the most of the Olympic legacy
• sports, wellbeing and active life for all ages

Smart Cities New York

Time: May 13-15, 2019
Place: New York

The aim is to participate partly to the Smart Cities New York program and to introduce Finnish technologies to large real estate companies. In addition there will be opportunities for Finnish companies in construction sector, especially in the smart building, energy efficiency and digitalization solutions to network and meet with companies in the construction sector from New York.
